JOB DESCRIPTION: Provides coordination and support for Baker Center for Learning (BCL) services promoting access and academic success for students with disabilities. Acts as one of the College's designated contacts for determination of appropriate academic adjustments and auxiliary aids and services for students with disabilities. Responsibilities include skilled social justice model interviewing of students; interpretation of psycho-educational, medical, and other disability-related documentation; evaluation of academic adjustment/auxiliary aids and services needs; coordination of appropriate academic adjustments; coaching, and other direct services; training for staff; and program development to address diverse student learning needs. May be asked to act as the College’s Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act (504) Compliance Officer.

This position is within the Faculty Association Union. Candidates must currently reside or be willing to relocate to New York State at time of employment. Additionally, maintaining New York State residency will be required for the duration of employment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Special Education, Counseling, Education, Human Services, Social Work; minimum of two years’ experience providing support services to students with disabilities (preferably in higher education); working knowledge of the amended Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the amended Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990, and other appropriate laws pertaining to higher education; and ability to determine appropriate disability-related academic adjustments and auxiliary aids and services. One year of supervisory experience.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in Postsecondary Disability Services, Rehabilitation Counseling, Special Education, Counseling, Education, content or related field; four or more years’ experience providing support services to students with disabilities in higher education. Familiarity with the social justice model for accessibility; 3 or more years’ supervisory experience, especially in a higher education setting.

EXPECTED HIRING SALARY RANGE:  $61,480-$92,221  Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. As a College employee, this appointment includes NYS retirement benefit options with a choice of a pension or generous matches to 414H, attractive Health Care options with 80% of premiums covered by the College, post-retirement health insurance and supportive work-life balance with holidays and sick days along with tuition assistance and ability of application to Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) in addition to other benefits offered by the College. POSITION OFFERED: Coordinator of Information Delivery Services

JOB DESCRIPTION: Provides leadership and supervision for all operational aspects of the library’s service desk, course reserves, electronic reserves, interlibrary loan, purchase-on-demand, video-on-demand and document delivery services. Responsible for setting the standard for service desk services in the Baker Commons Library. Plans, coordinates, develops, interprets, and implements policies and procedures for all information delivery services. Coordinates the monitoring of all chat, text, phone, email, and in-person communications that take place at the Service Desk and routes questions to appropriate staff members. Coordinates the delivery of information resources to all distance populations including Concurrent Enrollment, extension center, global, and community members. Participates in the cataloging and processing of physical and electronically received materials. Maintains close communication with faculty to promote library services and identify information resource needs. Compiles statistics and generates reports on the use of the physical collection, interlibrary loan and document delivery services. Utilizes and troubleshoots the variety of software used in the department.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree and four years of related experience or a master’s degree in a related field.

(MLS/MLIS applicants may also be expected to participate in other Library tasks, like reference, instruction, and liaison duties.) Experience in a Community College Library. Experience with library management software programs. Supervisory experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible to the Vice President of Student Affairs & Senior Diversity Officer for the development, implementation and management of the campus safety and law enforcement programs of the College; including the protection of persons and property on campus, safety and security planning for the campus and College satellite locations, compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, supervision of department peace officers and civilian staff, and acting as the primary liaison with local law enforcement agencies, courts and the County District Attorney’s Office.

This position is within the Professional Administrators Union. Candidates must currently reside or be willing to relocate to New York State at time of employment. Additionally, maintaining New York State residency will be required for the duration of employment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of ten years of experience in the field of law enforcement, at least three years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity. Must be certified and maintain certification as a campus peace officer or police officer in New York State; New York State DCJS Supervisory certification and possess a valid New York State driver’s license. 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: College law enforcement and college supervisory experience.

EXPECTED HIRING SALARY RANGE:  $81,023-$121,534  Salary subject to change pending outcome of Professional Administrators Association negotiations. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Manages and facilitates the work of the TC3 Foundation Board operations and development in accordance with Board bylaws, applicable laws and regulations, and best practices. Manages and executes development operations including cultivating and soliciting individual donors, prospect research, researching and writing proposals and foundation grants, developing and managing campaigns, alumni outreach, and special events. Serves as the development officer for all private philanthropic activity of the College.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Tompkins Cortland Community College seeks a dynamic and engaging full-time tenure track faculty member with a focus on student success and retention. Position includes 15 credits per semester in Sociology and Anthropology courses. These credits may involve teaching face-to-face, remote, day, evening, online, hybrid, and HyFlex courses. Courses will include introductory sociology and cultural anthropology and the opportunity to teach and develop additional courses that address stratification and inequality and/or a global perspective. The successful candidate will collaborate with colleagues to maintain, develop, and update course curricula and work on and possibly lead initiatives for future development. Other activities will include student advising, serving on college committees, holding office hours, and outcomes assessment. This position is within the Faculty Association Union. • Master’s Degree in Sociology, Anthropology, or other related field with at least 18 graduate credits in Sociology and/or Anthropology.

• Experience teaching either introductory sociology or cultural anthropology at the college level with a preference for experience teaching both.
• Experience creating a student-centered, active learning environment in the classroom and/or in the online environment. 
• Demonstrated ability to use modern instructional technology.
• Experience advising college-level students preferred.
• This position requires the ability to work supportively in a culturally diverse environment of students, faculty, staff, and the community. Candidates who have demonstrated a commitment to working with multi-lingual learners and historically under-served students and/or communities through teaching, mentoring, or administration are especially encouraged to apply. Candidates with a demonstrated ability to incorporate an intersectional framework into teaching and student engagement are encouraged to identify those experiences in the application materials.
